Medela is proud to be a longtime champion of breastfeeding. It is our goal to help moms breastfeed for as long as they choose. Even though National Breastfeeding Month is coming to an end, we are dedicated to continue celebrating, empowering, and supporting breastfeeding moms year-round.
We talk a lot about how rewarding and beneficial breastfeeding can be – and it’s true that research continues to show more and more benefits of breastfeeding for baby and for mom. But it’s also important to recognize that breastfeeding can be challenging, frustrating, and even exhausting, too. So be proud of what you’ve accomplished! Breastfeeding is not easy, and you should celebrate achieving even the smallest of goals. Take a minute to think about how amazing your body is – from conception, to carrying your baby in the womb, to the miracle of birth, to providing perfect nutrition for your baby – you are strong, beautiful, and awe-inspiring.
